SEIU Local 721 and Tri-Counties Regional Center (TCRC) teamed up to sponsor TCRC members for the 2nd Annual Aut2Run event in Camarillo on Sunday, April 6. Aut2Run is a charity 5K, 10K, 15K and Fun run charity race organized by the Autism Society of Ventura County.
TCRC members provide support and services for individuals with developmental disabilities living in Ventura, Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo counties.so that they may live fully and safely as active and independent members of our community.
SEIU Local 721 member Lisa Collins Fox received the Awesome in Autism award from the Ventura County Autism Society as the Service Coordinator of the Year.”I also want to thank my union. I don’t think I could have done this as long as I have without the support of SEIU. And they support a lot of people because of their advocacy,” said Fox as she received the award.

At last count, Autism Society Ventura County had raised over $100,000 from this year’s charity race.
