Forever San Bernardino United

Today marks the 5th anniversary of the San Bernardino tragedy that shook our union and this country to its core.

On this day in 2015, we lost 14 beautiful lives, including the lives of 10 of our SEIU 721 brothers and sisters. Dozens of other members and colleagues were also injured, and forever changed by this senseless act of violence.

The tragic events of December 2nd marked a very dark day in our country’s history, but the tremendous generosity displayed by SEIU members and kind strangers throughout the country proves to be a beacon of hope for a more compassionate world.

As we get through these unprecedented times, and long for the world to be “normal” again, please take time to remember the lives that were taken from us.

We will never forget — always in our hearts.
