Should the Probation Dept. of LA County split up? Take the survey and tell us!

It’s big news: The LA County Board of Supervisors is considering whether to split the Probation Dept. in two – one for Adults, another for Juveniles. So, the Coalition of County Unions is using a new platform called Thought Exchange to survey members – and that includes us at SEIU 721.

Tell us where you stand! Click here to take the Coalition’s survey.

Our union values our voices – which is why we need to hear from you now about this provocative proposal to split the LA County Probation Dept. in two. We want to lobby the Board of Supervisors for best possible outcome and we need your input to guide us.

So tell us how you feel! Click here to take the Coalition’s survey.

You’ll be asked to:

  • Respond to one open-ended question
  • Consider and assign stars to some of the ideas shared by others
  • Learn what’s important to the group.

You can rate as many thoughts as you’d like before moving on to a part of the survey called “Discover” – where you can see all the thoughts sorted by the average star rating.

Don’t wait! Click here to begin the survey.

Note: You can come back to the survey as often as you’d like to participate and, in fact, we ask that you do come back to star some of the new ideas shared since you first participated. The ratings will help us understand the most important areas to focus on for our advocacy.

Your thoughts and stars in this survey are confidential. Participation will be open until Wed., Jan. 27, 2021.

Join the conversation now! Click here to start the survey.
