The lead up to our 2020-2022 LA Contract Agreement was a fight like no other.
In the middle of a once in a generation pandemic, and the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression, we achieved a Contract Amendment that we can all be proud of.
We went from the Mayor announcing up to 26 unpaid days during his 2020 State of the City speech to our current agreement that includes no furloughs or layoffs this fiscal year.
Now it’s time to bring home this agreement, and begin the recovery and healing of our City.
