Our solidarity delivered a contract win that puts Ventura Regional Sanitation District (VRSD) back on track to ensure quality services for our communities, and the residents we serve.
The bargaining team negotiated a 3% salary increase over the term of the one-year contract and members voted to approve the agreement. This contract will give members and their families more stability during uncertain times. Although we did not get the increase in Annual Leave, we will not stop seeking parity for all members in future negotiations.
The agreement also includes a “Me Too” clause which will ensure members gain from any other bargaining unit gains during the term of the contract. The term of the agreement is from January 1, 2021 to December 31, 2021.
The VRSD board voted to approve the agreement.
