SEIU 721 Area Housing Authority members voted by an unanimous YES vote to approve the Tentative Agreement with management.
This contract will help secure vital services for Area Housing Authority and help uplift our community.
The agreement includes a 10.85% cost of living allowance in all salary bands. All unit employees shall receive an adjustment of 7.62% effective July 1, 2021. Thereafter on July 1st for each year of this agreement, employees shall receive a 3% step increase until the employee reaches the top of the salary band.
These increases put AHA back on track to restore services and to help Ventura County’s most vulnerable residents find safe and affordable housing.
In addition, we also had improvements in Medical Insurance contributions, longevity bonus amounts, and a new holiday – Juneteenth on June 19!
