City of Los Angeles Members Vote Yes

After weeks of on-site and virtual worksite meetings and thousands of votes cast, the results are in. Together, we voted overwhelmingly to approve our new Tentative Agreement with the City of Los Angeles, locking in 22% raises over the life of the term, including 6% in the first year alone.

Thanks to our organizing and action – including our 24-hour strike in August that made national headlines – we delivered the strongest contract in LA City history.

What’s next?

Our union siblings in MOUs 36, 63, and 64 will continue to cast their votes on our new Tentative Agreement through February 20th. Upon their vote count and approval, our ratified Tentative Agreement will go into effect with the City of LA.

When we fight, we win!
