When SEIU Refused, I personally filed a lawsuit against the City of LA challenging the early retirement program that saddled remaining employees with a 1% Reduction till 2026.

I’m currently serving as SEIU 721’s Secretary and Acting Treasurer and am running for re-election as Treasurer as part of the 721 Members First Team.
I’ve spent twelve years as a Children’s Social Worker with the LA County Department of Children & Family Services. As a long-time Union Steward and Vice President of SEIU 535, I’ve represented more than 250 members, served on two bargaining teams, and was elected to the LACERA Board of Trustees to help oversee LA County’s $39 billion pension fund.
