SEIU 721 members are urging the Riverside County Board of Supervisors and county management to avoid impasse, which would mean implementation of the county’s final offer and instead seek mediation, to resolve all conflicts. On July 14, members of your bargaining team met with Supervisor Jeff Stone, who had previously refused to meet with SEIU 721. Members discussed communication concerns and pressed for mediation, which county management has since refused. Members are also signing on to a petition (click here) to urge the smart, sensible approach workers have set forth to protect public services and come to a fair agreement.
