County of San Bernardino SEIU 721 members in the Professional Unit, Superior Court of San Bernardino Court Reporters and Court Support Services Units will all have the opportunity to negotiate new contracts this summer. Member involvement is key to winning a strong and fair contract. We will need active Bargaining Teams to help win a contract that will make San Bernardino a better place to work and live.
What is a Bargaining Team?
A Bargaining Team is a committee of SEIU Local 721 members who are elected by members to lead your bargaining unit’s contract campaign. There will be one bargaining team for SB County Professionals, and one combined team for the Superior Court Reporters and Support Services.
Bargaining teams identify issues and develop contract proposals. The team will meet with management to negotiate over contract proposals. Bargaining teams also help to build Contract Action Teams (CATs) at the workplace to keep SEIU 721 members informed about bargaining and possible actions to win the best contract possible.
