It is only through our unity and participation that we can fight back and provide accessible and affordable healthcare for our families and for our community.
While the employer cannot control the healthcare increases it definitely can control its contribution to fully cover any and all healthcare increases including co-pays. Right now the hardest hit employees would also be the biggest group, those with families.
Our message to Ventura County leadership must be very clear, that the employees, community allies, and residents of Ventura County cannot continue to accept increase costs on our backs.
