City of Simi Valley Chapter Board Nomination (not for self-nominations) – 2021

NOMINATION PERIOD EXTENDED

It’s time to elect our City of Simi Valley Chapter Board, and we are currently seeking candidates!

Use this form to nominate a City of Simi Valley co-worker for the Chapter Board.

If you want to nominate yourself, use this form instead.

These are the roles and responsibilities of the Chapter Board officers:

President – Chair of the Board; run all meetings; general supervision and direction of Chapter; appoint committee; assist in representation of bargaining unit members; do everything not expressly delegated elsewhere.

Vice President – Assist Chair; act as Chair in her/his absence; chair internal committee; oversee Membership Committee, assist in representation of bargaining unit members.

Treasurer – Responsible for financial accounting of Chapter; deposit and disburse funds; submit monthly financial report to Board, assist in representation of bargaining unit members.

Secretary – Keep records and minutes; notify committee members of their appointments; assist in representation of bargaining unit members; helps communicates to members any upcoming meetings via emails and helps record attendance at any membership meetings.

At Large (3) – Liaison to the general membership by attending all board meetings. The member at large serves to get input, provide feedback, and become a spokesperson for the membership. Assists in representation of bargaining unit members.

TERM OF OFFICE – 2 Year Term

Submit your nomination before Friday, January 7, 2022 at 3pm (PST).

Only members in good standing may nominate themselves or co-workers for the Chapter Board.
