County of Ventura Bargaining Update – August 19 2025

Our bargaining team has sent our initial bargaining proposals to the county and we will be meeting on August, 20, 2025 and again on September 3, 2025 to have our first discussions with County management. The proposals reflect the top three priorities of members based on the bargaining surveys –

County of Ventura Bargaining Team Election 2025 Launched

The County of Ventura Bargaining Team election launched today, Monday, May 12, 2025. County of Ventura members in all bargaining tables except for Public Works will vote for their new bargaining team members. Public Works did not have enough candidates to require an election. Voting will continue until Wednesday, June


Our Strike Made Headlines – Now LA County’s Feeling the Heat

Thanks to our solidarity, we’ve already secured movement at the bargaining table — including increased contributions to medical coverage. But instead of negotiating in good faith, County leadership continues to drag their feet, delay progress, and disrespect our union.


County of Ventura 2025 Bargaining Team Election Timeline

Bargaining team nominations are now closed.  Many of you submitted nominations for coworkers or for yourself and now it’s time to confirm nominations and see which bargaining Tables will require elections.  If there are more candidates than seats for a Table, then there will be an election.  Because of the
