721_DPSS_riv_co_combo_web.jpgSEIU 721 members and the Riverside County Department of Public Social Services (DPSS) have come together to address issues of morale, staff retention, workload and other concerns within the department.
A Morale Committee was formed, consisting of a social worker and supervisor, and will begin hosting meetings in six regional offices. The purpose of the committee is to foster a work environment of open communication and improvement.
DPSS management has agreed that each meeting will be held for an hour on County time.
