She’s a dedicated public servant who understands the importance of supporting working families and strengthening the city. But the runoff election is going to be close, so every SEIU 721 member who is eligible, should get out there and vote for Aja Brown on June 4. It’s time for new leadership in Compton!
Riverside: Yes on Measure A
SEIU 721 members in the City of Riverside urge every voter to say “Yes on Measure A.” It will allow Riverside to keep funding for essential services–police and fire protection, youth programs, libraries, non-emergency response, and parks and community centers–by continuing to transfer funds from the public utility into the general fund. If Measure A fails, services will be cut and hundreds of workers could lose their jobs.

San Fernando: Yes on Measure A
The City of San Fernando is holding a June 4 special election on Measure A, a temporary half-cent sales tax increase. A broad coalition of working families, including SEIU 721 members, support Measure A as it would generate much-needed funds to keep city services intact.
