After helping elect two new members to Los Angeles City Council, Assemblymember Bob Blumenfield and Senator Curren Price; Governor Brown has called for a Special Election on September 17.
On Tuesday, August 6, SEIU members will be asking questions and hearing from candidates who are seeking the SEIU endorsement for AD 45 and SD 26 at the SEIU-ULTCW offices (click here to RSVP).
SEIU COPE members will be voting on recommendations for the SEIU Executive Board to fill the vacated positions.
