On December 14th we filed a grievance demanding the County address the serious workplace safety issues, and we held a “Safety Check” immediately after to let them know that fearing for our lives at work is not normal.
Every day the County drags its feet on putting in place real safety protections, is another day that we run the risk of being violently attacked or being killed! We can’t afford to wait around for the County to value our lives!
That’s why we’re taking the initiative to learn how to defend and protect ourselves, and our co-workers at the Hemet Clinic!
We won’t be victims!
