LA City Members: Mobile Vaccine Clinics Are Coming Next Week

Positive COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations are increasing throughout Los Angeles, with unvaccinated residents accounting for an overwhelming majority of the new cases.

Your protection and safety matters.

That’s why we’re partnering with the City of Los Angeles to bring COVID vaccination opportunities to various worksites, and facilities.

Make no mistake, the vaccine is safe and effective, and is critical to saving lives. Join the thousands of SEIU 721 members who’ve already received the vaccine.

There are 4 free vaccination opportunities coming up on August 10th, August 11th, and August 12th throughout the City, with all 3 COVID vaccines available.

Do you have any questions about the vaccine? Then join the Vaccine Q&A Webinar with Medical Services on August 9th from 12PM to 1PM with Dr. Arthur Manoukian, MD, and Joanne O’Brien, RN, MPH — click here

Judging by this post, you will not be fighting for the body autonomy of individuals who wish not to get the vax. City and County are both mandating it. If you wish to remain financially solvent, you must kowtow to their unilateral mandate. AKA tyranny.

Is the union going to fight for individual rights or not?

How will the union support the members who choose not to be vaccinated?

MRetallick

We are currently bargaining for testing options for those who do not want to be vaccinated.

Is Local 721 going to protect those members who decline the vaccination? I sure hope so. Our bodies, our rights!
