WE DID IT! Thanks to the power of our Union and the determination of our LACERA Bargaining Team members, we have achieved a Tentative Agreement with big wins.
It includes a 10% raise over the life of the three-year contract – with an across-the-board increase of 4% retroactive to Jan. 1, 2022; 3% effective Jan. 1, 2023; and 3% effective Jan. 1, 2024 (pending ratification by members).
It also includes a $1,000, one-time COVID-19 Appreciation Bonus!
LACERA members may be eligible for a 5.5% Assignment of Additional Responsibilities Bonus if we performed duties outside our class during the pandemic – and our Union successfully pushed for the application period to extend from the current 10-day time period to a full 30 business days.
Additionally, LACERA and SEIU agree to meet and confer regarding a Telework Policy beginning on Feb. 15, 2022.
