Public Service Week: SEIU 721 Members Honored

PSRW_300px_eml_header_groups_FINAL.jpgFrom Riverside to Indio, Palm Springs to San Jacinto, Beaumont in-between and the County of Riverside, Public Service workers were honored at Council meetings during Public Service Recognition Week.

Social Workers, Solid Waste Collectors, Clerks, 911 Dispatchers, Custodians, Water Operators, Registered Nurses – all Public Service workers – keep our communities safe, clean and healthy every day.

The week’s celebration culminated with an all day Open House at the Inland Region office on Friday.  SEIU 721 members, their families, elected officials and other unions enjoyed food, refreshments, raffles, and gifts.

On Tuesday, May 12, the Riverside County Board of Supervisors read a proclamation honoring all Public Service Workers prior to the Board meeting. SEIU 721 members joined other union leaders on the days to be honored.
