The Community is tired of the endless lines at County facilities, and workers are also tired of the insane workload and not being able to provide services in a timely manner for every person that walks through County doors.

On April 15, we called on the Board of Supervisors to strengthen public services and end poverty wages. The wages working families are being paid are completely out of balance with what people need to survive.
The LA County Regional Council Summit inspired us. Maybe it was that spectacular view high in the foot hills of Los Angeles at the Mount St. Mary’s campus? Or maybe it was the action pack day? Whatever it was the members of LA County took a moment to pause, strategize and commit themselves to Fix LA.
During negotiations we were able to empower our members, bargaining team and hold strong on our proposals and goals. United, we pushed on our demands and we accomplished a lot.
SEIU 721 members across the county have overwhelmingly turned out to vote.
