We Need an SEIU 721 Show of Force at LA City Hall this Friday
We need all hands on deck on Friday, December 9th at LA City Hall at 9:00AM.
As you already know, we recently ratified our new 1-year MOU that delivered 3% in across-the-board raises effective January 1, 2023 and a one-time 5% cash bonus on July 26, 2023. On top of that, we also protected the 40 hours of personal leave and ensured that June 19th (“Juneteenth”) of each year will be recognized as a permanent paid day off for City employees.
Our contract is now before the City Council for final approval.
After the LA City Council approves this 1-year contract, our elected Bargaining Teams will return to the bargaining table to negotiate unit and classification bonuses, inequities, and salary notes for this 1-yr contract.
Make your work arrangements now and stand Union Strong at City Hall.
