SEIU 721 Executive Board Nominations Now Open

Nominations for SEIU 721 Executive Board Officers and board seats are now being accepted by petition.

Members who have been in continuous good standing for the preceding two years are eligible to be nominated. Petitions must be returned no later than 5 p.m. on Friday, March 8, 2013
, by either hand delivery to the SEIU 721 offices in Los Angeles, Ventura or Riverside; by mail to: SEIU 721 Election Committee, 1545 Wilshire Blvd., Los Angeles, CA, 90017, or by fax: (213) 380-3996. Petition signatures will be verified for eligibility on a rolling basis. Candidates are encouraged to collect signatures and submit their petitions early to allow time to correct any errors. Nominees will be notified of their eligibility and next steps, if any, shortly after March 8, 2013.
According to Article 13 of the SEIU 721 By-Laws, the Executive Board Officers election will be conducted by a neutral third party vendor, TrueBallot, Inc., which will mail election notices, ballots and instructions to all eligible SEIU 721 member voters on March 22, 2013. Ballots are due back by April 12, 2013.
