On Thursday afternoon, Feb. 27, 2014, hundreds of workers from the Riverside County Probation Department converged on the Moreno Valley Conference Center to celebrate with their peers during the department’s annual Employee Recognition and Awards Ceremony. This was the first year the Probation Department received help from any sponsors for this annual event and SEIU 721 was honored to help recognize our members for their hard work and dedication in 2013.

It’s nice to know our union is not only here to protect us, but to celebrate with us too!” – Bryon Hansen, Riverside County Supervising Office Assistant I, Probation Department

Guests were treated to a special musical performance by the Moreno Valley High School marching band, including their rendition of the National Anthem.

Jeff Stone, Chairman of the Riverside County Board of Supervisors, was the guest speaker and congratulated the recipients on their accomplishments.
