Saturday, September 24th: Don’t miss Income Inequality Day at the DTLA Film Fest!

Sisters & Brothers,

Together, we’ve fought back against economic inequality. We’ve put all Californians on a path to better pay and workplace protections; we’ve stopped attacks on your job security and voice as city, county, and public service workers.

But there’s still a lot of work to do.
It’s important for decision makers, and friends and family headed to the polls in November to know more about inequality is and how to fight it. That’s why we’re teaming up with the DTLA Film Festival for a day of free, familiy-friendly films that highlight the issues you care about the most!

Please join us on Saturday, September 24, from noon to 8:30 PM for a free day of screenings, panels, and a reception with free food and drinks:

Seating is limited so please make sure to RSVP right away at WatchLearnVote.org!

To call the last few years tumultuous times would be an understatement. The economy tanked. The money didn’t vanish, it just ended up in fewer hands. Budgets were “balanced” on our backs, while the rich got richer. Cuts at every level of government threatened everything we’d worked so hard to achieve. While in another, parallel universe, a small cohort of tax evaders and unpunished corporate criminals on Wall Street got multimillion-dollar bonuses. If you want to know how this happened, and why, then you don’t want to miss this day of learning and action!

See you at Regal Cinemas at LA Live on September 24 for Income Inequality Day at the DTLA Film Festival!
