Emergency Processions & Vigils in Fullerton & Lancaster on February 23

Ed Royce and Steve Knight refuse to meet with us, so we have to take our stories to their doorsteps.

Congressmen Royce and Knight voted to defund and repeal our country’s healthcare system without a plan to replace it. This means all of us are going to pay more for fewer benefits and less coverage.

Because Congressmen Royce and Knight voted to repeal the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, 5 million in California will lose health coverage, and 334,000 in the Golden State will lose jobs.

With no coverage but the emergency room, every year, 43,956 Americans will die.

Congressmen Royce and Knight refuse to host town halls to hear from their constituents. They won’t defend their votes. Where’s their plan for universal affordable healthcare? They refuse to answer, despite the fact that our tax dollars pay their salaries! If our elected and appointed officials hide from us; if they don’t have the courage to face us, we will take our stories directly to their doorsteps.

We need to bring our whole family, our worksite, and our community together for an emergency procession and vigil on Congressman Royce’s doorstep, (at Hiltscher Park, 1002 N Euclid St, Fullerton, CA 92833) and one on Congressman Knight’s doorstep, (on the corner of 38th St W and Paddock Way, Lancaster, CA 93536) this Thursday, February 23, at 6 PM, because every one of us are impacted by their irresponsible and reckless leadership!
