We did it! Thanks to our tireless dedication at the negotiation table and in the field, our SEIU 721 County of Ventura bargaining team delivered on a strong Tentative Agreement (TA).
The agreement provides historic gains that uplift members, our families and our communities.
An overwhelming majority of the Bargaining Team recommends YES vote.
TENTATIVE AGREEMENT HIGHLIGHTS
* 10.5% general salary increase over the life of the 3-year agreement:
Year 1: –3.5%
Year 2: –3.5%
Year 3: –3.5%
* More than half Ventura of County members will receive market based increases of an additional 1 to 9%.
* A majority of Ventura of County members will receive up to 25% in SB-525 increase
* Historic coverage for healthcare including:
- Free dental and vision for all members enrolled in a healthcare plan
- Flex contributions equal to a percentage of the VCHCP premiums in every year of the contract.
- Employee only 100% coverage
- Employee +1 90% Employer coverage
- Employee +2 85% Employer coverage
* Additional 2 weeks open enrollment for healthcare, to be announced by the County in the coming days
