The SEIU 721 City of Riverside Solid Waste Unit bargaining team presented contract proposals to management on Tuesday, Dec. 10, that followed the priorities outlined by members:
• Salary increases
• Pension security
• Improvements in working conditions
The SEIU 721 City of Riverside Solid Waste Unit bargaining team consists of Jerry Johnson, Solid Waste Collector III, Frank Littau, Solid Waste Collector III, and Eloy Alvarez, SEIU 721 chief negotiator.
The team and management agreed to the following bargaining dates:
– Monday, January 6
– Monday, January 13
– Monday, January 27
Bargaining takes place from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Location to be determined.
