Riverside County Per Diem Workers to Vote on First Contract

The SEIU 721 Riverside County Per Diem bargaining team has reached a tentative agreement with management. If ratified, Riverside County Per Diem bargaining unit members will receive raises and other economic incentives, union rights and grievance procedures, in this, their first contract.

Ballots must be received by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 5 to be counted. 

“Valued employees produce valuable work. Reaching this contract agreement with the County shows they value Per Diem workers. Now it’s time for us to vote YES.” – Jacob Parker, SEIU 721 Per Diem bargaining team member and RCP II Ballots will be mailed to SEIU 721 Per Diem employees and must be received at the Riverside office by 5 p.m. Aug. 5, to be counted. You must be an SEIU 721 member to vote. Please fill out a membership card and mail it back with your vote.

The Bargaining Team encourages a YES vote.

There will be two General Membership meetings for Per Diem members to find out more about the tentative agreement.  

 

Ballots have been mailed to your homes. They must be received by Aug. 5, at 5 p.m., to be counted. Ballots can be dropped off anytime between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. at the Riverside office. Votes will be tallied after 5 p.m. on Aug. 5 at the Riverside office. Members are welcome to attend.
