We did it! Now it’s time to vote to Lift Up Ventura County!
Starting on Tuesday, December 13th through Thursday December 22nd you can make your voice count by casting your ratification vote at scheduled worksites throughout the County and every day at the SEIU Local 721 Office from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
We did it! Our bargaining team reached a Tentative Agreement on a strong three-year contract that lifts up Ventura County.
Your unity and participation are making a difference in our campaign to lift up Ventura County. Members across the county are taking action by participating in unity breaks, rallies, Board actions and by casting votes to do Whatever It Takes.
SEIU 721 members across the County are ready to do Whatever It Takes to get a fair contract. It is only through our unity and participation that we can get to that goal and Lift Up Ventura County.

Today at 12PM Pacific Time, SEIU Local 721 offices throughout Southern California will observe a one-minute moment of silence in honor of all the brothers and sisters we lost. We ask SEIU members and sister locals across the nation to join us in a moment of silence, remembering and honoring our union brothers and sisters.
Our unity and participation is the foundation for a strong contract. The actions you took over the past months like Purpling Up and participating in unity breaks made the difference!
We will continue to fight – at our worksites and at the table – for real investment to restore and strengthen County services. United, we will continue to champion fair wages and workplace safety for all County members.
On Monday November 28th, our bargaining team continued to deliver our comprehensive proposals designed to relieve the burden of healthcare premium increases and ensure the vital services our members provide are valued.
SEIU Local 721 County of Ventura members sent a message to the Board of Supervisors, in person: “Give us thanks for a job well done!”
